Timberland and New Era are bringing baseball fandom to two streetwear staples with a limited edition collection inspired by seven Major League Baseball teams.
The range launches globally on August 15, pairing Timberland’s Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot with New Era’s 59FIFTY fitted and 19TWENTY adjustable caps. Timberland says each design blends team colours and insignia with its signature wheat finish.
Seven clubs are represented: the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets and New York Yankees.
The Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot is the centrepiece of the range. It keeps the rugged shape and seam-sealed construction of Timberland’s classic footwear, but adds baseball-inspired details tied to each team.
Matching New Era caps follow the same theme, giving fans another way to show support without wearing a traditional jersey. The 59FIFTY keeps its classic fitted shape, while the 19TWENTY offers an adjustable alternative.
Pricing starts at around $50 for the 19TWENTY (via Hypebeast). The 59FIFTY costs just under $60, while the collaborative Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boots are priced at $250.
Timberland and New Era have also recruited New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. for the campaign. A short film pairs Chisholm with a younger version of himself, reflecting on his journey from childhood ambitions to the major leagues.
Fans will be able to buy the collection from Timberland, New Era and MLB flagship stores from August 15. It will also be available online through each brand’s store, although colours and styles may vary by team.
