TUMI is taking a more relaxed approach to everyday travel with AXIS, a new collection of lightweight nylon bags made for everything from the daily commute to weekends away.
Introduced as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, AXIS moves away from some of TUMI’s more structured designs in favour of flexible shapes and a more relaxed look. The collection is for the travellers who want one bag to move easily between work, travel and everyday life.
Backpacks lead the range, with 20-litre and 25-litre versions joined by a Medium Tote, Medium Crossbody and Medium Sling. Black and Navy keep things fairly low-key, with a limited Black Reflective option for anyone who wants something a little different.

The softer look comes from lightweight nylon, recycled linings and rounded, cocoon-like shapes. Angled leather details add some structure, and sections inspired by performance running vests bring in a sporty touch without making the bags look overly technical.
There is still plenty of the organisation TUMI is known for. The 20-litre Medium Backpack has space for up to a 15-inch PC or 16-inch MacBook, along with several internal pockets, an AirTag pocket and TUMI Tracer. Quick-access storage and an Add-a-Bag sleeve are included as well.

If you need a little more space, the 25-litre Large Backpack keeps the same general setup with extra room for longer days or short trips. TUMI lists the 20-litre and 25-litre versions at €450 and €490 respectively in parts of Europe.

The smaller bags carry over the same easygoing style. The Medium Crossbody, for example, includes a padded tablet compartment and quick-access phone pocket, with the Black Reflective version adding a more noticeable finish after dark.
AXIS is available now through TUMI stores and the brand’s website. It offers a more casual alternative for those who like TUMI’s organisation but prefer something less structured than its traditional business bags.
