Grand Seiko has unveiled the Spring Drive Peach Blossom SBGA529, a pale pink limited edition made for a single US boutique. Only 30 pieces will be available through the Grand Seiko Boutique Lenox Square in Atlanta.
The watch uses Grand Seiko’s 62GS case, which traces its shape back to the brand’s first automatic model from 1967. It measures 40mm across and 12.8mm thick, with the case and bracelet made from High-Intensity Titanium.
That material is lighter than stainless steel, helping the watch feel less substantial on the wrist despite its size. The bezel-free design also allows the box-shaped sapphire crystal to rise directly from the case.
Most of the attention will go to the peach-pink dial, which takes inspiration from Hanamomo no Sato in Nagano Prefecture. The village is known for its peach blossom displays, and Grand Seiko has recreated their soft colour through a lightly frosted texture.
Polished dauphine hands and faceted hour markers stand out clearly against the dial. A date window appears at 3 o’clock, while the power reserve indicator sits at 8 o’clock.
Inside is Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive calibre 9R65, which combines a traditional mainspring with quartz-regulated precision. It provides a 72-hour power reserve and is rated to within 15 seconds per month.
The SBGA529 also has a screw-down crown and 100 metres of water resistance. Those details make it practical enough for regular wear, even with a dial inspired by delicate spring flowers and soft colours.
Sales are expected to begin in August 2026, with the watch priced at $7,600. Its 30-piece production run makes it rare, but the Atlanta-only release will make buying one even more difficult for anyone outside the city.
