Moncler is preparing for colder weather with a wide-ranging FW26 footwear collection that moves from technical hiking sneakers to shearling boots and some eye-catching collaborations.

The new range mixes the brand’s alpine roots with shoes designed to work beyond the mountains. Clarks Originals, Rick Owens and Moon Boot all feature alongside new versions of Moncler’s own Trailgrip and winter footwear (via Hypebeast).

One of the more familiar designs is the Moncler + Clarks Originals Trailgrip Wallabee, which gives the classic suede silhouette a winter-ready makeover. GORE-TEX helps keep water out, and Moncler’s chunky Trailgrip Vibram sole adds more grip for wet or slippery ground.

Things get much more dramatic with the Moncler + Rick Owens Trailgrip Megalace. The leather sneaker uses the collaboration’s distinctive lacing system, backed up by an EVA midsole, OrthoLite insole and carbon-fibre insert. A Vibram Megagrip sole provides the traction underneath.

Moon Boot also joins the collection with the Moncler Grenoble Icon High Rodeo. It takes the shape and function of a snow boot, then adds embroidered suede details inspired by classic cowboy boots.

Moncler’s own Trailgrip family gets plenty of attention too, with GTX, Lite3, Apex GTX and Craft versions joining the FW26 lineup. Depending on the model, you will find details such as suede, OrthoLite cushioning, carbon-fibre components and Vibram outsoles.

For something better suited to proper winter weather, the range also includes the shearling-lined Peak Snowcap and Peak Après boots. The Altive Mid returns as well, bringing an archive-inspired shape into a more weather-resistant winter design.

Releases will roll out from early September through late November, with some styles already available from Moncler and selected retailers. So whether you are heading into snow, dealing with a wet commute or simply want something more unusual for winter, there is plenty to choose from here.
