Aston Martin’s flagship Vanquish is entering 2027 with a limited anniversary model that will not come cheap. The standard Coupe starts at $436,500, while the open-top Volante costs $489,700.
Those figures already put the Vanquish well beyond ordinary luxury-car territory, even before options or personalisation through Aston Martin’s Q division are added. Pricing for the Vanquish 25 has not been announced, but it is expected to cost significantly more.
A 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 powers the Vanquish, producing 823 horsepower and 738lb ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends that power to the rear wheels, with an electronically controlled differential helping to keep it in check.
It is estimated that the Vanquish can accelerate from 0–60mph in around 3.0 seconds. Carbon-ceramic brakes come as standard, along with 21-inch wheels fitted with specially developed Pirelli P Zero tyres.
The Vanquish 25 marks a quarter of a century since the nameplate first appeared. Aston Martin will build only 50 examples worldwide, divided equally between Coupe and Volante versions.
Q by Aston Martin has given the special edition a Skye Silver finish with metal-foil detailing and stainless-steel side strakes. A bespoke exhaust finisher and unique badging help separate it from the standard car.
Changes continue inside, where a red engine start button and specially patterned trim add a few more anniversary touches. Buyers can also order the car in a 2+2 configuration, despite the Vanquish normally being sold as a two-seater.
The cabin comes with semi-aniline leather, 16-way power seats and two 10.3-inch displays. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, while a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system handles the audio.
Even with that sound system, the V12 is likely to remain the main attraction. Buyers can personalise the cabin further through Aston Martin’s bespoke division.
It may be brutally quick, but the Vanquish is not just built for lap-time theatre. It remains a luxurious grand tourer, only with enough power to make the price seem slightly less shocking.
