Lamborghini has teased a new version of the Urus, and it looks like the SUV is about to get much more aggressive.
The company says a new chapter is taking shape, with a live reveal planned for July 1 on Lamborghini’s website and YouTube. Lamborghini has not confirmed the model name yet, but the teaser strongly suggests a high-performance Urus is on the way.
The image shows a bright green Urus mostly hidden in shadow, with a large rear wing and another spoiler above the rear window. That is a quite clear hint that this is not a regular version of Lamborghini’s SUV.

The big question is whether this marks the return of the Urus Performante. The previous Performante ended production in 2024 and sat above the regular Urus with more power, a sharper chassis setup, and extra visual aggression.
If Lamborghini does bring the Performante name back, it will likely use the same basic plug-in hybrid setup as the current Urus SE. That model combines a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 with an electric motor for a total output of 789hp.
A new performance model could push beyond that figure, which would make it the most powerful Urus yet. Lamborghini has not confirmed any output numbers, so that part is still speculation.

The previous Urus Performante was about more than just power. It used fixed springs instead of the standard air suspension, had sharper rear-wheel steering and featured a more rear-biased all-wheel-drive setup. A new version could follow a similar recipe, with added hybrid power and more aggressive aerodynamics.
The reveal will be streamed on Lamborghini’s website and YouTube, so we should not have to wait long for the full details.
Lamborghini has not said much yet, but the teaser suggests the Urus is about to get a more focused performance version.
