The Lexus UX has just been revealed ahead of its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, which will take place on the 6th of March. This is what we know about the compact crossover that will sit beside the RX and NX in the range.

. The Japanese manufacturer says the design of the UX is 'bold' and 'stylish' and that it has a 'condensed look'. There is no mistaking the fact you are getting the trademark Lexus look, including that

hard-to-miss trapezoidal

front grille. '[The Lexus UX's] crossover credentials are signalled by muscular wings and haunches and a high beltline,' Lexus continues, 'but under the skin an all-new platform gives the UX exceptional body rigidity and a low centre of gravity to deliver the agile handling of a hatchback.' Very little is given away in terms of specifics, although you can expect a hybrid given that Lexus trademarked the 'UX250h' name as well as 'UX200' and 'UX250'. We would also hazard a guess it will cost between £28,000 and £40,000 (similar to the E-Pace), depending on the engine and amount of interior gadgetry you desire. If the Lexus UX seems familiar, that is because it was unveiled as a concept car back at the Paris Motor Show in 2016. The Lexus UX will debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show alongside the seven-seater RX L and the LF-1 Limtless concept.
