More than 20 years after helping define early-2000s hip-hop style, 50 Cent’s G-Unit sneaker is heading back to shelves.
The Reebok x G-Unit G6 returns in its original red, white and blue colourway from 2003. The shoes are already listed online, with the US price set at $130.
Reebok has kept the new G6 very close to the original. Premium white leather covers most of the upper, with a grey suede toe and red and blue detailing adding contrast. G-Unit branding appears near the heel, and a silver G6 lace dubrae brings in another direct nod to the first pair.

The icy rubber outsole also makes a comeback, helping keep the sneaker firmly rooted in the era that made it popular. Reebok itself describes the G6 as closely tied to early-2000s hip-hop, when basketball-inspired sneakers were becoming a major part of streetwear.
Its timing back then could hardly have been better. The G6 first arrived in 2003, the same year 50 Cent released Get Rich or Die Tryin’, and became one of the more memorable artist-led sneakers of the period.
Bringing the G6 back also means something to 50 Cent personally. He has described the sneaker as representing an important period in both his career and hip-hop — one that longtime fans can revisit and a younger generation can discover for the first time.

The Reebok x G-Unit G6 launches on August 20 at 10am ET through Reebok.com and selected retailers. Sizing runs from 3.5 to 13, with size 14 also available.
More than two decades after its debut, the G6 is getting another shot at the spotlight. Keeping the design close to the original gives longtime fans plenty of reason to be nostalgic.
