I’ve been using the Manscaped Face Buffer Pro for months, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It is, in essence, a high-powered, vibrating silicone scrubber. That might sound a little high-tech for some, but in practice it’s incredibly useful.
Ultrasonic scrubbing
The model offers three settings: a targeted exfoliator on the front, a large sonic vibration pad at the rear, and a combined mode for a holistic clean. It’s this setting which I’ve tended to use most often, as it covers the most ground which ultimately speeds up the process.
To use, simply apply a little of your favorite cleanser to the pad. Hit the power button and massage the product gently over your face. You should notice that it starts to lather up – much more than is possible with just your hands.
I also found the pointed tip to be a brilliant piece of design work. It’s exceptional for getting into crevices – like those between your nose and your cheek – which traditionally are harder to reach.
The silicone pad – complete with a wealth of soft bristles – offers a more comprehensive cleaning and scrubbing experience than you’d ever be able to manage with your hands alone. Couple that with the ultrasonic vibrations in the cleaning head and the results are brilliant.
Unmatched cleaning
In practice, I actually think the most compelling argument for the Face Buffer Pro was a week I spent without it. Within 24 hours, I could already feel patches of skin which were feeling rougher. After three days, my whole face felt like a gravel track. It was not fun.
With daily use, the results are much more palatable. My skin has been smoother, softer and clearer than ever before, with a level of consistency which was never possible prior.
Priced at $89.99, it’s certainly not a cheap item. But I do think it’s a worthy addition to your skincare regimen, particularly if you’re someone who cares deeply about their looks, or who wants to start early at combatting the inevitable signs of aging.
