Opus at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai has received an Award of Excellence at the 2026 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards. Four Seasons said the recognition reflects the restaurant’s carefully selected wine list and how closely it works with the menu.

The annual awards recognise restaurants that offer a strong choice of wines across different regions and styles. They also consider whether the selection complements the food being served.

Opus is the all-day dining restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, with a globally inspired menu and a relaxed setting. Its temperature-controlled EuroCave holds bottles from established and emerging wine regions around the world.

General Manager Nitesh Gandhi said the wine list was designed to feel like a natural extension of the food. That approach is especially important at an all-day restaurant, where bottles may need to work with anything from a casual lunch to a celebratory dinner.

Sommelier Vishal Singh has built the collection around both classic regions and newer favourites. Bordeaux, Burgundy and Tuscany appear alongside wines from Stellenbosch, Mendoza and the Douro Valley.

The range is intended to give regular wine drinkers plenty of choice while helping less experienced guests explore unfamiliar regions. Staff can also guide diners towards bottles that suit their meal and preferences.

The award adds another point of distinction to the hotel’s wider dining offering. Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is also home to venues such as rooftop bar AER and the outdoor Gimlet Garden.

Opus may be designed for all-day dining, but its wine programme has been given the attention usually associated with a more formal restaurant. The Wine Spectator recognition shows that the bottles are not simply an addition to the menu, but an important part of the experience.
